Laura Slagle is the owner of the therapy practice and provides employment and supervision to two talented intern therapists so that more individuals can be served in our community. Laura is a graduate of Chapman University, and lives with her family in Fresno, CA. She provides counseling and psychoptherapy to children, adults, couples, and families in her private practice.

Laura is an experienced speaker and has a passion for providing staff training and parent education for school districts, foster family agencies, adoption groups, churches, and other non-profits. 

A long-time professional, Laura has over three decades of experience working with children and families as an educator,  administrator,  advocate, case manager, and mental health professional.

Laura  began her career as a Montessori teacher in Michigan and the Bay Area of California. After becoming a foster and adoptive parent, moving to Fresno, and becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), she became interested in helping children who had experienced trauma and loss.

In 2009, Laura went back to school to get her MA in Psychology from Chapman University with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has also completed additional training in child welfare, couples therapy, and therapeutic parenting. 

For the past several years, Laura has been providing psychotherapy in a variety of settings, including non-profit agencies, school districts, and private practice settings.

AMY STONE, Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist, IMF89243

Amy's intention is to empower individuals and families to live satisfying and authentic lives. She provides a relational approach to therapy, acting as companion and guide, toward meeting the unique goals of each client.

Amy attended Fresno Pacific University and was recognized with highest honors during completion of her Master of Arts in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling. She also holds a Master of Divinity, which provides additional expertise when clients choose to explore the roles that spirituality and religion have played in their own stories. Amy serves a diverse population of all age groups, and welcomes members of the LGBTQ+ community.
