Elizabeth Iaquinto is a dedicated and empathetic therapist specializing in anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. With a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Psychology from Brandman University, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Olive Leaf Family Therapy. Elizabeth has a particular passion for working with teens and young adults, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy to help her clients navigate their unique challenges.

Elizabeth's approach to therapy is person-centered, prioritizing the establishment of rapport and providing empathetic understanding, validation, and supportive reflection. She believes in creating a safe and understanding environment that fosters growth and empowerment for her clients. Her experience spans various settings, including schools and private practice, where she has led teen groups and worked with couples, children, adults, and teens. She has also undergone specialized training in Infant Mental Health (IMPH), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and addressing youth depression and suicidal ideation in the post-pandemic world.

Elizabeth's hope for her clients is that they will feel supported, empowered, and safe throughout their therapeutic journey. She aims to equip them with a robust set of coping skills to navigate life's challenges. In her words, inspired by Maya Angelou, "You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it." Elizabeth's mission is to help her clients discover their inherent strength and resilience, guiding them through the process of empowerment and self-reflection.
